Tanya Denise Mattson

Tanya Denise Mattson passed away on October 13, 2026, in Temple, Texas, one day before her 57th birthday. She was born on October 14, 1969, in Bremerhaven, Germany.

Tanya will be remembered with love by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Mattson; her grandchildren, Edelyn Gonzalez and Aydan Calderon; and her sister, Tammy Gresham. She also leaves behind her niece, Alicia Manning, and her nephew, Justin Gresham. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives of her great-niece, Makayla Mattson, and her great-nephews, Rowdy Manning and Elijah Manning. In addition to her family, Tanya is also remembered by many friends whose lives were touched by her presence and companionship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brenda Mattson and John Mattson.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Tanya on October 21, 2026, at the Copperas Cove Location, 1614 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Copperas Cove City Cemetery, 415 E Avenue A, Copperas Cove, 76522.

Following the graveside, the family would like to invite you to  McDermott's Club located at 2000 E Elms Rd, Killeen, Texas 76542 to celebrate Tanya's life.
