Tara Workman

Tara Workman, 49, of Kingsland, TX, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Killeen, TX.  She was born on July 1, 1975, in Mason City, Iowa, to Keith and Evelyn (Sessums) Workman.

Per the family's wishes, no services will be held.

Tara lived in Iowa until her family relocated to Texas when she was 10 years old.  She graduated from Lampasas High School in Lampasas, TX, in 1993.  After high school, she attended Bauder College in Arlington, TX, where she received a degree in Interior Design.  Tara worked for many years as a preschool teacher in Marble Falls.  Her true passion was teaching and taking care of children.

Tara was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn.

Survivors include her father, Keith Workman of Kempner, TX; her sister, Amanda (Tim) Brown of Temple, TX; her niece, Maliah Brown; and her best friend of 30 years, Shelsea (James) Becker of Marble Falls.
