Thelma Louise Ellis

Thelma Louise Ellis, 85, passed away on November 29, 2023, at 2:17 am at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 5 to 7 pm.  Graveside services will be at Levita Cemetery in Levita, TX on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 12 pm.

Thelma was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico on May 30, 1938, to Joseph and Vivian Haines and was one of five siblings.  Thelma lived in Levita, TX with her husband Bill Ellis who was a U.S. Army Veteran for a number of years before moving to Lampasas where she lived for over 20 years.  She was a dedicated member of Lampasas Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ellis, her parents, Joseph and Vivian and her younger brother, Joseph Haines.

Survivors include her sisters, Marie Frasier and Barbara Kester; her sons, Glenn McDonald, Jeff McDonald and Wesley McDonald and wife Mary Ann and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
