Vicky Lynn
Peters
Jun 16, 1983 — May 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Vicky Peters, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved member of the Lampasas community. Vicky departed this world on May 7, 2026, at the age of 42. She was born on June 16, 1983, in Lampasas, Texas. She lived a life filled with love and laughter, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will forever be remembered.
A Celebration of Vicky's life will be held at Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11 am.
Vicky was the loving daughter of Robert and Marion Darlene Carroll, who preceded her in death. She grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of her family in Lampasas, where she graduated from Lampasas High School in May 2001. Her early years were marked by a sense of joy and an infectious smile that could brighten any room.
In life, Vicky found her true calling as a devoted wife and mother. She married Ierome Peters 18 years ago, and together they built a beautiful life with their two cherished sons, Jeremiah and Joshua. Vicky's boys were her world, and she found immense joy and pride in nurturing their dreams and watching them grow.
Vicky was a woman of boundless generosity and kindness. Her career in customer service allowed her to touch many lives, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a warm smile. Those who knew her best would say that she would gladly give you the shirt off her back, always placing others before herself.
Her interests were as diverse as her heart was generous. Vicky had a passion for plants and chickens, finding peace and joy in their simple beauty. She also loved shopping, a pastime she often shared with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was playing board games with her family and friends. Her life was a tapestry of these simple pleasures, woven together with laughter and love.
Vicky is survived by her devoted husband, Ierome, and her two beloved sons, Jeremiah and Joshua. She is also survived by her dear brother, Bobby Gene Carroll, and his wife, Liz, along with Vicky's nieces, Jemma and McKenna Carroll. Her sister Tammy and her husband Lee Martin are left to cherish her memory, along with their children, Allison, Katelyn, Vivien, Lauren, Gwendolyn, Madeline, and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Cadence Bank account set up for her husband and children.
Though she left this world far too soon, Vicky's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will carry forward, inspiring all who knew her to live life with the same grace and compassion that she did.
