Wanda Boswell

Wanda Boswell, 84, of San Saba, died on July 10, 2026.  Wanda was born on May 2, 1942, to John Milton Brizendine and Melissa DeLeon Brizendine in Liberty Hill, Texas.  She graduated from Bertram High School.

Wanda was married to Leslie Dawson for 23 years and together they had three children: Richard Scott Dawson, Karen Lynn Dawson Isham, and Tommy Joe Dawson.

Wanda spent most of her career as a secretary in the legal field and was also employed in banking for many years.  On September 23, 1991, she married H.M. (Sonny) Boswell, Sr. in Tahoka, Texas.  Wanda was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed their 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  Wanda was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in San Saba.  After her retirement, Sonny and Wanda moved to their country home and farmed and ranched and enjoyed the country life until her passing.

She is survived by her three children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny, her parents, three brothers and one sister.
