Wendell Ray Taylor

Wendell Ray Taylor, 61, of Lampasas, passed away at his residence in Lampasas on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Services will be private.

Wendell grew up in Lampasas and was well known for being a great athlete in football, basketball, and track.  He graduated from Lampasas High School and worked in construction for many years.  He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Taylor, and grandparents, Sherman and Annemaw Espy.

Survivors include his mother, Vivian Taylor; brothers, Kenneth Taylor, Robert Taylor and wife, Shandra; niece, Charr-lea Taylor; great-nieces and nephews, Kiara Taylor, KeVon Taylor, KJ Stephens, Asher Stephens, Jerome Whyte, Taymeka Whyte, Monica Taylor, Robert Taylor, Jr, and Matthew Dover.
