Wolfgang Helmut Senke

Wolfgang Helmut Senke, 68, passed away on February 20, 2026, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.  He was born on October 28, 1957, in Namibia to Helmut and Edith (Braun) Senke.

Wolfgang grew up in Swakopmund, Namibia.  He graduated from Swakopmund High School in Swakopmund, Namibia in 1975.  After high school, he began work as a technician to repair large industrial faxing and mailing machines where he worked for 30 plus years.  He retired in 2017.

Wolfgang married Ingrid in 2020 in Burnet, Texas.  They were happily married for 5.5 years.  He enjoyed outdoor living, hunting, painting, caring for animals, braaing (i.e, barbecuing), soccer, and watching all kinds of sports.

Wolfgang was preceded in death by his father, Helmut, and mother, Edith.

Wolfgang is survived by his spouse Ingrid of Lampasas, Texas; his daughter, Stefanie Senke of South Africa; his son, Michael Senke of South Africa; his brothers and their spouses, Ralf and Karen Senke, Harald and Sigrun Senke, and Gernot and Leslie Senke; his nieces and nephews; his stepsons and their famlies; and other relatives.
